Simulating Human Visual Perception in Tunnel Portals

To study the characteristics of light and dark adaptation in tunnel portals, to determine influencing factors light–dark vision adaptation, basic lighting linear design data were obtained. In this study, we used a light-shielded tent simulate environment tunnel, observe driver recognition time for target objects during process, analyze human vision. Based on experimental data, examined relationships between age, gender, illuminance, times, established model these relationships. The results show that is generally longer than time. positively related age exhibits cubic relationship. There no significant correlation but overall trend gradually increase with increasing age. gender there notable times illuminance. When illuminance ranges from 11,000 13,000 lux, are longest.
